Vulnerable Person Alarms

Buddi

Through our parent company Securi-Guard, LogiScan Fire and Security can give you access to the world’s leading personal tracker device buddi – ideal for vulnerable people or those with a disability/health issues.

It’s a complete service as we can supply customers with buddi’s globally renowned trackers and Securi-Guard can monitor them from its National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold accredited Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), providing 24/7 emergency support.

Acting as a ‘first response’ when a device is activated via its emergency button, the Securi-Guard monitoring team will be alerted and can locate the wearer immediately via Global Positioning Satellite Technology (GPS).

The team can then alert the customer’s pre-chosen guardians of their whereabouts and also, if necessary, refer the incident to the police or local authority, whichever is appropriate.

Buddi provides GPS accuracy to within three metres (10ft) worldwide and uses the latest assisted satellite which gives an instant location on a map, accessible via a laptop or pc, mobile phone other handheld devices.

Since its launch, buddi has been used by a number of local councils in the UK for lone workers and vulnerable people such as the elderly and those with conditions such as dementia. Devices have also been adopted by NHS Trusts for midwives and nurses on home visits.
