LogiScan can provide and 24/7 monitor personal safety alarm devices

Personal Safety Alarms

Lone workers or those who are vulnerable and have specific medical conditions face potential risks and hazards every day.

That is why it is vital they can raise the alarm if something happens to them.

With the support of our parent company Securi-Guard, LogiScan Fire and Security can help come to the rescue, 24/7 and 365 days of the year, with our range of lone worker/vulnerable persons alarm devices and monitoring services.

We can equip you with the right warning equipment for your needs and we can monitor these devices via Securi-Guard’s Lone Worker Monitoring Centre, which has National Security Inspectorate (NSI) Gold BS 8484 approval.

The service for those who are vulnerable or have disabilities/health concerns is provided with the co-operation of specialist service providers. They can supply devices and/or equipment to those organisations who are responsible for the well-being of members of our community or even directly to individuals.

How the lone worker service works:

  • When a user’s device is activated, monitoring centre operators liaise with the client and/or emergency services
  • Operators can supply vital information of the user’s exact position using global positioning satellites (GPS) technology that every device is connected to
  • Communication with the worker can take place either through the device using GSM/SMS (BS 8484 compliant) or by other means (non BS 8484 compliant)
  • All calls to and from the lone worker monitoring centre are fully recorded, logged and archived in compliance of the Data Protection Act 1998.
